Radiance Gold was founded on a simple belief: every horse deserves to thrive, with supplements built around quality, consistency, and natural ingredients. Created by Clare, a lifelong horse person with a background in equine nutrition, Radiance Gold grew through word of mouth. Dr Crocs Secret was created to complete the bigger picture: inside support from supplements, plus practical skin care on the outside.

Meet Clare, the founder of Radiance Gold and the person behind everything we create at Dr Croc's Secret.
Clare’s passion for equine nutrition runs deep, shaped by years working with leading feed manufacturers such as Dodson & Horrell, and later at HJ Lea Oakes, one of the UK’s longest-standing independent animal feed companies. Those roles gave her invaluable insight into the art and science of equine nutrition, and how premium ingredients and carefully balanced formulas can influence a horse’s overall health and wellbeing. Clare is a big believer that a healthy gut microbiome plays a vital role in digestion, nutrient absorption and immune function, supporting horses from the inside out.
In 2016, inspired by the desire to help her own horses and those in her care, Clare set out to create something truly special. Working closely with expert equine nutritionists and established manufacturers, she developed the original Radiance Gold supplement with a unique blend of pre and probiotics alongside other natural ingredients. The goal was simple: support digestion, condition, temperament and vitality, day after day.
Encouraged by the results seen during the early trial phase, Radiance Gold quickly grew through word of mouth, and Clare expanded the range to support different horses and their individual needs, including products for mares, veterans and horses with skin-related challenges.
Over time, Clare noticed another pattern in the horse world and increasingly the dog world too: owners wanted a straightforward way to support skin from the outside, without overcomplicated routines or exaggerated claims. That is why she created Dr Croc's Secret as a sister brand to Radiance Gold: simple, purposeful topical care made with naturally lipid-rich croc oil, designed to condition the skin and support the skin barrier alongside the internal foundations of great nutrition.
Today, Clare continues to bring the same standards, integrity and practical approach to both brands, creating products that fit real life and help horses and dogs feel their best, season after season.
